This Week's Topic
Quarterly Check-In: We did one back in March, so now
that we're just past the halfway point of the year, how are you doing on your
goals?
It's been months since I've done a RTW!
I set a goal on the Goodreads 2013 Reading Challenge to read 105 books this year. So far I'm 55 books in and my TBR pile is growing . . . weekly. I should be ashamed of myself for purchasing so many books.
My writing goals were slipping majorly at the start of 2013. My husband had just returned from Korea in November and was already announced to be deployed in May/June--and we had just moved to a new military base--so the entire beginning of 2013 can only be described as "crap." Yes, my vocabulary is that extensive.
My blogging, writing, and editing are now going strong; I've even found a new critique partner! After much consideration I have decided to self-publish my New Adult Suspense, Bottom Feeder, in August. Don't worry, I will not do a shameless promo here. I promise. lol I'm also working on a Young Adult Contemporary that I will try to traditionally publish. Who knows where that will take me or if it will even happen, but I am nothing if not hopeful and determined.
